Bugler's Cottage is a lovingly renovated historical 1860s thatch labourer's cottage providing comfortable Stanford accommodation for up to three people. The spacious covered entertainment area at the back of the house adds to the utterly relaxing ambiance of this cottage.
The cottage consists of a private bedroom with double bed, an open plan lounge/dining room area with a daybed, a fully equipped kitchen to assist with your self-catering stay (gas stove, electric oven) and a bathroom that contains both a bath and shower.
For those colder winter nights, the wood-burner in the lounge area is the ideal place to philosophise about 'life' over a glass of wine... or have a quiet cup of tea and read one of the many books provided for you to enjoy.
And just in case you are one of those who cannot do without contact with the outside world, there is WiFi and a TV (EasyView bouquet DSTV).
The property is fully enclosed and hence you are more than welcome to bring your pet(s) along. Stanford is extremely pet-friendly and there are areas where all the dogs socialise off-leash. A walk along the walking trail in the village and along the river adds to the pet-friendly experience. In addition a number of day-time restaurants will allow you to bring your pets along, as long as he/she is socialised and you are seated on the veranda.
Bugler's Cottage is the ideal place to stay and relax - or stay and explore the area. If the latter is the case, have a look at what you can do while staying in our lovely cottage.
